[How to] Bring back Unity Launcher

Recently when i logged in into my Ubuntu 11.10 system, i could not found my Unity – Launcher or sidebar, so i was unable to start any application.

But anyhow i managed to start my browser because i have installed gnome-pie in my system so that i could launch any application via that.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Now open your terminal and follow the simple steps below:

Step 1: type the following command

ccsm

Step 2: When Compiz Configuration settings manager opens, search for ” Ubuntu Unity Plugin ” under Desktop section

Step 3: If it is not been enabled click on the check box and enable it. You should now get it or reboot to get it.
