New Commands!!!


6. This is the command to display all the running process in your linux system from terminal like a GUI:

” top ” and press Enter. press ” q ” to quit

7. To know the version of  Kernel installed in your system:

” uname [space] -a ” and press Enter.

8. To know the current working directory:
” pwd ” and press Enter.

9. To make a file hidden:
there is no command to make a file hidden , it can be done by putting a “.(dot)” as a prefix for the file that has to be hidden. To view a hidden file type the following command in terminal ” ls -a ” and press enter.

10. To list all the files that consists of the required name:
” locate filename ” and press enter
